This Privacy Policy explains our data collection, storage, processing, and protection practices when you access our website, use our AI Coach service, join our cohorts, or purchase workshop access.

2. Information We Collect

When you use Downdating, we may collect the following categories of information:

Authentication Information: When you sign in with Google OAuth, we receive your verified email address, full name, and avatar image URL via Supabase Auth. We do not store or have access to your Google account password.
Chat & Coaching Prompts: Text messages, questions, and situations you submit to our AI Coach to generate advice and conversation replies.
Screenshots & Images: Screenshots of dating app chats or profile pictures you upload for AI coaching and review.
Transaction & Subscription Data: Details of payments processed via Razorpay (Order ID, Payment ID, Subscription ID, Plan type, and status). We do NOT store your credit card numbers, CVVs, or UPI PINs.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your data is utilized strictly to provide, improve, and bill for our dating coaching services:

To authenticate your session and maintain your active daily quota and subscription credits.
To analyze screenshots and generate real-time AI suggestions, openers, and profile recommendations.
To process subscription payments and recurring renewal e-mandates via Razorpay.
To enforce our 18+ eligibility requirement and prevent abuse or security breaches.

4. Screenshot & AI Data Privacy

We treat uploaded screenshots with utmost confidentiality:

Zero Data Selling: We never sell, rent, or monetize your personal information or uploaded screenshots to advertisers, data brokers, or third parties.
Transient Screenshot Storage: Screenshots submitted for analysis are processed transiently in server memory to generate your suggestions. Raw image base64 data is stripped before saving conversation histories.
Third-Party AI Processing: Image and text prompts are securely routed via HTTPS to Groq inference APIs strictly for generating responses. Prompts are not used to train public machine learning foundation models.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your profile and message logs for as long as your account remains active or as required by law. You have the right to request full deletion of your user account, stored conversations, and subscription records at any time by contacting our support team.

6. Age Restriction (18+ Only)

Downdating is exclusively intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18 years of age. If we learn that a minor has created an account, we will promptly terminate the account and purge their data.
